What if tomorrow never came?
Where would your soul be found?
In Hell or sacred ground.
Hear now the trumpet sound.
Loose the chains before they are bound.
Call upon the Lords Holy name.

What if your friends turned against you.
Foul words their oaths betray.	
Could you still kneel and pray?
And wait for judgement day?
To hold the enemy at bay.
Could you hold fast and keep faith true?

What if your family grew coldly.
Rejecting your embrace.
Treating you with disgrace.
Slapping you in the face.
And leaving you without a trace.
Would you still pray for them boldly?
 
What if you had the words that saved?
Salvation in God's Word.
A blessing seldom heard.
To hearts so sorely stirred.
Of God's amazing Grace conferred.
The words of rescue that they craved?
